LAHORE: An extension is just a formality. Yes, there are other generals available and fully qualified to lead the Pakistan army into the next phase(s) of the war on terror. But that does not mean we ridicule Gen Kayani and his will to serve the people and the nation. He has considerable international respect and credibility and that is a fact no one in the media can deny.
