Unofficial results declare Kahloon winner in PP-34 bypolls

Unofficial results from the PP-34 constituency declared Kahloon the winner.

SARGODHA: The polling for PP-34 constituency of Sargodha has ended and according to unofficial result independent candidate Ijaz Ahmed Kahloon has claimed victory.

Kahloon won with a total of 15,967 votes.

Section 144 has been imposed in the area to avoid any untoward situation

A seat was left vacant after PML-N MPA Rizwan Gill was disqualified for having a fake degree.

The overall atmosphere on the day remained peaceful.

Polling at two stations stopped temporarily after a scuffle between political workers broke out. However, the situation was brought under control after a little while.

PML N’s Tabraiz Gill, PPP backed candidate Fayyaz Oathi and independent candidate Ijaz Kahloon were contesting the by-polls.
