Two killed, 12 injured in attack on MQM office
Two people have been killed while 12 injured in the Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi on Friday.

Two people have been killed while 12 injured in the Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi on Friday.
The unit number 3 office of Muttahaida Qaumi Movement near Haroon Royal City Block 17 was attacked as unknown assailants opened fire, killing one MQM activist who died on way to the hospital.
In another incident linked to the attack a bus conductor succumbed to his injuries as unknown assailants set fire to a minibus in the same area.
All of the injured have been shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and five are said to be in critical condition.
Violence spread to other areas of Gulistan-e-Johar as unknown people torched four motorbikes and an ambulance. While the assailants managed to snatch another ambulance and flee from the area.

I reside in this area. And i happened to be right there 10min before the firing started. The infuriating thing is that this area was already full of heavy presence of rangers. They had armed unit placed in johar Chowrangi. How on earth did these people manage to shoot at a place, burn buses, steal ambulance right in fornt of the noses of Rangers and police.Recommend

The incidents of target killing is increasing day by day which should be stopped by all means.
The police and the rangers should use iron hand to apprehend the culprits.
On one hand Pakistan Army is fighting war with the terrorists in the Northern areas and on the other hand people are killed every day in target killings in Karachi.
The basic reason for down turn on the economic front is mainly the law and order situation of Karachi and Pakistan.
To control law and order situation it is the prime responsibility of the law enforcing agencies.
If such incidents will not be stopped by force, who is going to invest in Karachi/Pakistan?
The menace of target killings should be stopped by all means.Recommend

The unit is located in Iqra Complex in Gulistan e Johar block 17. This place is nearer to Noman Grand City, Billy’s and Rufi Lake drive not Haroon Royal as mentioned in the report.Recommend

shame on rangers and police, they were heavily deployed in gulistane johar due to target killings two days back, but today it all happened under their nose, they are useless people, if these kinds of killing continue, time is not away when every area will have his own civilian militias.Recommend

There is no Political will of Government to control this because right and left both are alliance parties of Government.
So this thing will continue until end of the tenure of Government.

It was done by ANP terrorist,who been backed up by Land mafia,Drug Mafia,transsport mafia..tension is raising between mqm and ANP now PPI has joind ANP against MQM..they see MQM as threat because mqm is threat to their land mafia,weapon mafia and drug mafia.i think we need another operation like we had in 1992,so clean all terrorist in karachi..Operation Clean up.Recommend

Media,Army,President,Prime Minister even every body knows that who are invole in this target killing and who are resposible but we know that if we try to evident we will be killed.But which time we will bear it.I request to media to please evident this target killing because our Govt can not take action against it because our Govt compel for saving its regency.please come ahead and fight against tihs current firaoniat.Recommend

I See ANP and MQM as terrorist parties tht should be done away with…note that Karachi has been in the grips of violence since MQM came into existence..however ALL the political parties are made up of goons…the question is what to do with them…there is no security in this nation….Recommend
Before commenting on any such news, analyze what triggered this? As soon as Governor given the order to vacate the encroached land by land and drug mafia of karachi – they attacked the office of political force.
Please open up your minds and understand whats going on ….. a patronized effort to eat up karachis land …. and i think this time mqm is on the receiving side of it. MQM is the party having all sort of disadvantages coming out of such incidents ..Recommend
This all is done by MQM who is afraid of ANP and Pakhtoons.
karachi is the city of Pakstoons.MQM knows that only ANP and Pakhtoons can face and defeat them and not other anyone.Therefore they are afraid of Pakhtoons and ANP.Recommend
