Development: Site for industrial zone reserved in AJK

The sources said that a grand international investment conference will be held soon in Mirpur.

MIRPUR (AJK): The site for a new grand industrial zone over an area of 20,000 kanal of land in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir has been reserved in order to promote industrial development in AJK, official sources said. Sources told The Express Tribune on Thursday that the industrial units of various products including marble, electrical appliances, tiles, chemicals, etc, have been proposed to be established in the new mega industrial zone. They further said that local and foreign investors will be given all possible facilities and incentives for encouraging the establishment of maximum industrial units in the new zone. The sources said that a grand international investment conference will be held soon in Mirpur.
