Lahore Broast sued for serving hard-board in their 'Karahi'

Consumer court has set December 13 for Lahore Broast manager and order taker to file a response.

LAHORE: A consumer court has issued notice to the general manager and order taker of Lahore Broast for December 13 in a suit seeking payment of Rs.500,000 for allegedly serving inferior quality food to a client.

Petitioner, Haider Ali filed a petition in a consumer court contending that on October 24 he and his guests approached Lahore Broast Branch located near General Hospital Lahore and ordered the waiter to bring ‘chicken karahi’. He told the court that as they were eating their order, they found pieces of hard board in their ‘chicken karahi’. He told the court that the length of one piece was about three inches.

He prayed the court to direct the respondents to give him Rs.500,000 as damages, due to the mental agony and embracement. Upon which the court issued notice to aforementioned respondents for December 13 to file their response.
