Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has roped in Chinese-American actor Tom Wu for his home production Ra.One.

Khan wrote on Twitter: “...a big welcome to Tom Wu in the film cast. He is so humble and such a sport ... really nice to have him on board.”

Tom Wu is a martial arts expert. His film credits include roles in movies such as Revolver, The Scorpion King, Batman Begins and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider II.

According to earlier reports, action legend Jackie Chan was also approached for a role in film, which has garnered plenty of pre-release buzz.

The film is a Don re-union of sorts, as it features both Arjun Rampal (who plays the villain) and Kareena Kapoor. Rampal has been sporting a cap for the past few months because of his new hairstyle for his role.

Akon will be contributing to the sound track of the film.

Ra.One is scheduled to release in 2011.

Shah Rukh, who is currently shooting for the film in London, is a little unwell.

“Antibiotics have sucked all energy out of me. Throat feeling better now... can go on the sets and make some noise to feel important hopefully,” he wrote on Twitter.
