Transfers and postings: Reshuffling in the establishment division

Establishment division has approved the promotion of eight joint secretaries as senior joint secretary.

ISLAMABAD:


The establishment division (ED) has approved the promotion of eight joint secretaries (JS) of Secretariat Group as senior joint secretary in their respective divisions.


According to a notification issued by the division on November 15, Abdul Latif Lughari JS Capital Administration and Development Division, Muhammad Jamil JS Baber Finance Division (Military), Hafiz Muhammad Ziaud din JS Cabinet Division, Ali Abid JS Statistics Division, Shahzad Iqbal JS Inter-Provincial Coordination Division, Muhammad Nasim JS Defence Division, Muhammad Sarwar and Iftikhar Ali Khan both of the Finance Division have been promoted from BS-20 to BS-21. These officers will serve as senior joint secretaries in the same offices.

In another development, Hassan Nawaz Tarar, a BS-21 officer of District Management Group, presently posted as additional secretary at economic affairs division has been transferred and Posted in Prime Minister’s Secretariat in same capacity with immediate effect. A BS-21 officer of Income Tax Group, Muhammad Anwar Goraya has been repatriated to Federal Board of Revenue. Goraya was serving in National School of Public Policy, Lahore.

Meanwhile Fawadud Din Raiz Qureshi, a BS-19 officer of Police Service of Pakistan, presently serving in the Punjab government, has been transferred to the Intelligence Bureau.
