CHAGHI: A meeting of Pak-Iran border officials has been convened for November 20.

The officials will discuss issues surrounding the reopening of the Zero-Point trade gate at the Pakistan-Iran border. Deputy Commissioner Chaghi Dr Tufail Baloch told the media that he had written a letter to Iranian border officials, demanding the immediate reopening of the trade gate.

The Iranian officials agreed to attend the meeting being held in Taftan, a border town of Pakistan to discuss bilateral trade between the two countries via Zero-Point. Iran had closed the trade gate on September 22 for construction activities.
