PML-N Rally: More than half the participants came from other districts

Between 100 to 300 vehicles from other districts arrived in the city on Friday carrying PML-N workers.

More than half of the people who attended the PML-N rally on Friday came from outside Lahore, popularly considered the party’s stronghold, if reports prepared by various intelligence agencies are to be believed.


According to one agency’s reports, more than 600 vehicles carrying workers arrived from Sheikhupura, more than 400 vehicles from Hafizabad, about 300 vehicles from Nankana Sahib and more than 300 vehicles from Kasur.

Between 100 to 300 vehicles from other districts arrived in the city on Friday carrying PML-N workers.

The reports also gave estimates of supporters various PML-N leaders were able to bring. MNA Rana Tanveer Hussain and MPA Pir Ashraf Rasool were declared the most successful each having brought more than 1,200 people. MNA Mian Javed Latif, MNA Bilal Ahmed Virk, ticket holders Rai Mansab Ali Khan and Chaudhry Barjees Tahir also brought more than 1,000 workers each to the rally.

kashif | 12 years ago | Reply The report is 100% true. People of lahore know the recent failures of punjab Govt in Health & education sector. Its not the 1990,s era to attract people with hollow slogans, people of punjab know the last 3 & half years performance of punjab govt.
