KARACHI:

Pakistan Railways employees will stage a protest against the mismanagement of the railway department in front of the office of the deputy superintendent, Aftab Memon, at noon today.

Thousands of retired personnel have not received their pensions and some engineers have been denied their salaries.  A rally will also be held at I.I. Chundrigar road in order to spread awareness about the dismal state of affairs, which, according to the chairman of the Pakistan Railways Workers’ Union, Manzoor Ahmed Razi, has gone ‘from bad to worse’.
