Busted!: ANF seizes 33kg charas from dealer

ANF officials recovered charas worth millions of rupees from a drug den being run by accused Awais Khan.

SIALKOT: Anti- narcotics force (ANF) officials raided a den in the Mitraanwali village in Daska and recovered over 33 kilogramme (kg) of fine quality charas. According to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) officials, they recovered charas worth millions of rupees from a drug den being run by accused Awais Khan. Senior ANF officials told reporters that the ANF had also arrested the accused and that he had been involved in dozens of counts of drug trafficking.  They said that accused belonged to Gilgit-Baltastan and had been peddling drugs under the guise of selling roasted corncobs in the area. “This was a huge consignment of drugs and we are still searching for Khan’s accomplices. We are conducting raids throughout the district,” said an anti-narcotics official. ANF has started an investigation after registering a case against the accused.
