KARACHI: Danish Kaneria will have to wait a bit longer to get the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) clearance as the Sindh High Court reserved its judgment on the leg-spinner’s petition yesterday. The court, in its last hearing, had asked PCB’s lawyer Tafazzul Rizvi to get a transcript of the investigation carried out by the Essex Police into the spot-fixing case to which Kaneria had been linked. Rizvi informed the court that the police had told the board to get a court order from the UK in order to get the transcript. Kaneria was hopeful after the hearing. “I’ve full faith in the court,” Kaneria told The Express Tribune. “I’m hopeful that the verdict will be in my favour.”
