According to Express 24/7 correspondent, Iftikhar Firdous, a drone fired two missiles at a compound in Azam Warsak, near the South Waziristan town of Wana which killed at least four local Talibans belonging to the Nazir group.
Firdous said that locals had reported sighting drones flying in the area for the past few days, though it was not till today (Tuesday) that it struck.
This is the first drone strike in South Wazirstan since early August, after the Pakistan army completed an operation to drive militants from the tribal area that borders Afghanistan.

We must extend the drone strikes to inner cities. Quetta is bursting with taliban leadership and we must ensure they do not feel safe in pakistan. I am sick and tired of reading comments from so called pakistanis that are in actual fact nothing more then closet talibans. Why dont you people complain when the taliban murder army jawaans. our government is to busy accomadating osama and family so there is nothing wrong in using americans to do the job that we are incapable of doing or unwilling to do

@Ali: Unfortunately you are a Pakistani aerospace engineer. Perhaps our drones may have 60% strike rate but US makes no mistakes. Sad but true.
@Ali: As an aerospace engineer, you should first align your definition of strike rate with that of @Basit Khan's before you comment on the percentages. It's not just pure engineering accuracy in terms of microns, it could also be accuracy of ground intelligence, enemy mortality etc.

Despite all the huff and puff to fool Pakistani public, the drone strikes continue. Pakistanis are against the US boots on the ground but not the drones. When would establishment be clear about their stand on drones? Unless they only have a dislike for American boots!

ali, Drones have a nearly hundred percent hit rate. Ask someone (a sane one ) from Waziristan and he will tell you. I have friends in Quide-Azam university from Waziristan and they tell me the drones have never killed innocents.
Will the PAF shoot down these killers...
