ISLAMABAD: The price of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been reduced by Rs5 per kilogramme, LPG Distributors Association Chairman Muhammad Irfan Khokhar said in a statement on Wednesday.

It said that the prices of domestic cylinder and commercial cylinder were reduced by Rs55 and Rs120, respectively.

As per the revised rates, the price of LPG in Karachi will be Rs110 per kilogramme while its domestic cylinder will be available at Rs1,270.

The new price of LPG in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, Daska, Khanewal, Gujrat and Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, will be Rs115 per kilogramme while its domestic cylinder will be sold at Rs1,330.

The price of LPG will be Rs125 per kilogramme in Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Multan, Sadiqabad, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan. The price of its domestic cylinder will be Rs1,450.

In Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Muzaffarabad, the per-kilogramme LPG price will be Rs135 while its domestic cylinder will be available at Rs1,570.  In Mansehra, Balakot, Kohat and Bagh, the price of LPG will be Rs140 per kilogramme. Its domestic cylinder will be available at Rs1,630.  In Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA, the per-kilogramme price of LPG will now be Rs145 and its domestic cylinder will be available at Rs1,690.
