Published: July 2, 2010

Gilani said democracy would not have suffered if the judiciary had taken prompt action on parliamentarian's fake degrees.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that democracy would not have suffered if the judiciary had taken prompt action on parliamentarian’s fake degrees.

Gilani said that politicians who are seeking mid-term elections should not contest by-polls, otherwise the situation would deteriorate.

Commenting on last night’s terror attacks in Lahore, the prime minister expressed his sorrow and ensured that the terrorists would be brought to justice. He added that an important meeting regarding the law and order situation has been summoned.

what is our prime target now a days,
    saying political high profiles,
think and rightly come to the conclusion,
    unity and political consensus.

But nation looks no harmony in the near future,
    statement counter statement,
    disagreement on the national issues,
differences are increasing day by day
and resulting in unrest and insurgency prevailing.

    when our prime ,minister says,
it is no time for mid term election he right in his stance
present government dealing with the issues rightly
there is no remarkable change looks after mid term poll

The people who are demanding for in fact want to instability in the country and Pakistan can not afford further political complications.Recommend
