Police foils terror plot, seizes bomb near airport

An unknown person phoned police at airport and informed them about the presence of a suspicious bag.

Police seized and defused a bomb near Model Colony in Karachi on Wednesday (today).

According to initial reports, a suspected bomb was recovered from a bag near a security printing press in Karachi.

Officials said that an unknown person phoned police at the airport and informed them about the presence of a suspicious bag. Police called the bomb disposal squad who took care of the situation.

Police sources said no detonator or explosives were found from the bag and the purpose of the act seems to create panic.
