Former Minister Sher Afgan Niazi resigns from APML

Says was not happy with the behaviour of some of the party leaders and wasn’t keen on working with them any longer.

KARACHI: Veteran politician and former minister Sher Afgan Khan Niazi resigned from All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) following differences with the party leadership on Saturday.

Sher Afgan Niazi was working as Senior President of the APML.

According to reports, the seasoned politician had sent his resignation to the party leader Pervez Musharraf.

He said that he was not happy with the behaviour of some of the party leaders and wasn’t keen on working with them any longer.

On the other hand spokesperson for APML, Fawad Chaudhry said that he had not received Sher Afgan's resignation as yet.

According to sources have claimed that Sher Afgan Niazi had differences with party officials, including Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Dr Amjad and General (r) Rashid Qureshi.
