Flood Warnings: 2 nullahs in Sialkot overflow

A nullah in Sialkot has flooded with 19,500 cusecs of water.

SIALKOT: A nullah in Sialkot has flooded with 19,500 cusecs of water. According to district officials, the nullah flooded shortly after Nullah Dek flooded and the area has been put on high alert as a flood risk.

Gujranwala Commissioner Saeed Wahla has said that 20,000 cusecs of water is approaching Badu Malhi. The administration is keeping an eye on the situation but has already warned villagers to evacuate the area. Meanwhile, district coordination officer (DCO) Nabeel Awan said that 19,500 cusecs of water had entered Pakistan via nullah 1. The current is expected to enter the Wazirabad Palkho nullah from Sialkot nulllah and all nearby villages have been vacated.
