CCPO Karachi vows to arrest court attackers
CCPO Karachi Waseem Ahmed has vowed to arrest Karachi court attackers and has confirmed that investigations are underway.

KARACHI: CCPO Karachi Waseem Ahmed has vowed to arrest Karachi court attackers and has confirmed that internal investigations into the attack are being held.
Speaking to media in Karachi, he said several people, including a sub insepctor, an ASI and a constable have been arrested after the attack. He said the city’s police is committed to taking action against negligent officers and an FIR has been lodged for the purpose.
He also said that the city court’s security needs to be improved and suggested installation of CCTV cameras and walk-through gates outside the court premises.
He gave details of the Karachi court attackers, saying that they belong to militant group Jundallah.
