Aga Khan University Faculty & Staff (AKUFS) defeated Faysal Bank by two wickets in a thrilling first-round match in the 7th AKU Twenty20 Ramazan Cricket Tournament. Batting first, Faysal Bank scored 165 for nine with Asim Imtiaz scoring a quick-fire 39. AKUFS’ Piyar Ali was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets. In reply, AKUFS sneaked past Faysal Bank’s total on the penultimate delivery, ending up with 167 for eight.
