ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday said that areas of interest have been broadened in the meeting with Richard Holbrooke.
Speaking at a joint press conference, US Special Envoy Richard Holbrooke said that the US is increasing civil and military aid for Pakistan. He said that the US wants to address Pakistan’s energy needs, adding that it has no concerns overs its gas deal with Iran.
Holbrooke had arrived in Paksitan on a two-day visit to have “a substantive meeting” with Foreign Minister Qureshi.
