Senate opposition leader : PM meets Abdul Ghafoor Haideri

Haideri discussed development and security issues of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

ISLAMABAD: Talking to leader of the opposition in Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on Friday, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that it is the duty of each parliamentarian to work for supremacy of the parliament. He further said that development schemes in all parts of the country have been undertaken to ameliorate public problems and urged public representatives to monitor development schemes for their timely completion. Haideri discussed development and security issues of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and requested the prime minister to direct the concerned authorities to expedite work on repair of Karachi-Quetta Highway.
