KARACHI: A Rangers personnel was shot dead Thursday morning in the continuing cycle of target killing in Karachi.
On Wednesday night, an assistant sub-inspector, ASI Zahid Riaz was killed in New Karachi, by two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle, while a former activist of the Sunni Tehreek, Mohammad Shahid was gunned down in Usmanabad.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari met with ANP leaders to discuss the ongoing violence.
ANP Secretary General Amin Khattak demanded that the inquiry from last month’s target killings be made public.
A day earlier five people were killed within a stretch of 24 hours.
