JuD's Hafiz Saeed declares suicide bombings un-Islamic

By PPI
Published: July 25, 2011

Hafiz Muhammad Saeed terms suicide bombings un-Islamic, saying that attacks on Muslims by Muslims could never be a Jihad.

DASKA: Ameer Jamaat-ud-Daawa (JuD) Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has termed suicide bombings as un-Islamic, saying that attacks on Muslims by Muslims could never be Jihad, as Islam is a religion of peace, which gives a lesson of  love, unity and affection.

He said that the brutal killings of Muslims under the name of a so-called Jihad was a condemnable, inhuman and un-Islamic act and that the people doing the suicidal bombings do not belong to Islam.

He stated this while addressing a separate meeting of the workers at Daska city.

The JuD chief said that peace, economical and political stability in Pakistan was possible only in following the teachings of Islam and through Jihad.

Later, addressing a convention of the local traders at Sambrial, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed revealed that the USA has used Pakistan for its (USA) personal gains and now the time has come for the incumbent rulers of Pakistan to get rid of USA.

He said that Indian has never accepted Pakistan as well as the partition of the Indo-Pak subcontinent, which was a shameful act on India’s part which claims to be the biggest democracy in the world.

    Perhaps this stanza from a famous Ghazal fits here;

“Mera Azm Itna Buland Hai ?
Ke Paraaye Sholon Ka Darr Nahin !
    Mujhe Khauf Aatish-E-Gul Se Hai,
Yeh Kahin Chaman Ko Jala Na De”

So what do you want to convey

    (a) Murder of a non-muslim in name of religion is Islamic
    (b) Murder of a non-muslim by suicide bomb is Islamic
    (c) Only killing of muslims is condemnatory….

How has India not accepted the creation of Pakistan?

Gandhi went on a hunger strike to make the moral case for India transferring it’s share of funds to Pakistan.

    India recognizes Pakistan

Vajpayee went to Minar e Pakistan and made a speech for India Pak relations to be normalized.

What more do you want? Yes, there is a territorial dispute of Kashmir, even there though India claims POK, it has made clear to accept LOC as border. How is India not wanting to give territory to Pakistan not recognizing Pakistan?

It is Pakistan (jihadi element) that does not accept the existence of India.

First take the case of Israelies. They reaffirm the rights of neighbors, but do not count Palestinians as neighbors. They believe Palestinians have no soul and it is OK to kill them and grab their land.

Second, take the case of televangelists here in the USA. They preach peace, but also say all Muslims are an infestation and must be wiped out.

I don’t know why is every one trying to start a war between billion of followers of a religion who are peacefully trying to live apart from those who are either misguided or forced to fight. Islam doesn’t allow killing of any human or permits of suicide PERIOD. Prophet PBUH himself forgave the killer of his uncle. As a muslim what I have been told my whole life is that GOD can forgive all your sins but will not forgive you for the rights of others. India has an embassy in Pakistan and allows Pakistan to have an embassy in India. This means Indiar ecognizes Pakistan.

It is true that Indians do not recognize the 2 Nation Theory that Hindus and Muslims are 2 separate nations and cannot live together. It is not just Indian Hindus but Indian Muslims who totally do not accept that Hindus and Muslims cannot live together in peace or else they would not have stayed back in India at the time of parition.

In fact there is no outcry when a Hindu boy marries a Muslim girl or a Muslim boy marries a Hindu girl. In other words Hindus and Muslims can even stay in the same home peacefully accordingtoIndians.

But just because we do not accept the 2 nation theory which formed the basis of partition, it does not mean that we want to roll back partition and merge with Pakistan. There would be no benefit whatsoever in doing so for India. We are a secular , democratic republic where diversity is not just tolerated but cherished AND we want to keep it that way.

Let’s be clear and talk with facts,

No court in India,US or Pakistan has proved Hafiz Saeed’s involvement in 26/11.
JUD lead by Hafiz Saeed does not have a single F.I.R in its name from a minor crime to any major terrorist attack.

JUD/HS has always preached tolerance within Muslim sects and minorities as well. Never in history of JUD they have been involved in any hate crime against Minorities

4.Christians and Hiindus in Pakistan have supported and rallied for them.

JUD has a strong stance since day one of suicide bombings in Pakistan in the name of JIhad.

This is not the first time Hafiz Saeed has said this, he along with numerous scholars of his group are condemning Takfeeri terror with knowledge and reasons since long.
Some people have mentioned if muslim cannot kill muslim can he kill a non-musilm, that’s so naive, the topic of the talk was the prevaling chaos in Pakistan not the over all JIhad which is not against any innocent non-muslim, its only against those who attack you, and there are many audios proves where Hafiz saeed claims to believe in same ideology of only waging jihad against those who attack you. For those who commented from India, and US well you guys need to worry about your own tyrannic regimes killing innocents around the world. Not to forget your latest zombie-production Norwegian Christian Terrorist.

@Cautious: I think the entire premise of your comment is bogus and points to exactly the kind of sweeping generalization that the likes of Fox news engages in. Hafiz Saeed is not a Muslim leader but a fringe element, and there are many such fringe figures in all major religions who speak of wanton killing etc (assuming that Hafiz Saeed promotes that).

The Islamic canon and legal doctrine, and hundreds of Muslim scholars (for instance at the Amman declaration) will confirm this makes it abundantly clear that killing any human being is un-Islamic and a grave injustice against humanity itself. The Qur’an also makes it very clear that anybody who kills another human is tantamount to killing all of humanity.

The rise of extremism in the Islamic world, for whatever reason, cannot be swept under the rug by moderates claiming that “Islam does not allow this” and leaving it at that. The Muslim world needs to do a much better job of countering extremist dogma through active education, intervention, and REJECTION of extremism AND the extremists who spread this poison. Why Saeed objected to “brutal killing of Muslims as unislamic” and not other follower of other faith?
    .
Why Quran refers the people of other faith as “Qafir” (or the like) which, I understand, is derogatory?
    .
Is the religious teachings at madrasas not the breeding grounds of terror in Pakistan?
    .
Why it is so easy to convert a muslim to terrorist?
    .
Why (almost) all the terrorists are muslims? Why they mostly target innocent civilians?
    .
Why we find a maulana leading most terror groups?
    .
I had seen that most of the rioting and violence lead by muslims had erupted after the Friday afternoon prayer? (The prayer dose not seems to have a sobering effect but to the contrary ignite passion in the follower.)

I feel that the millions of muslims had turned to terrorism and violence irrespective of what is mentioned in Quran.
