A mob turned violent while protesting killing of a man in new town area.

KARACHI: A mob torched several vehicles in Karachi after a man was killed by unknown attackers in the new town area.

The incident unfolded after unidentified men killed forty-year-old Shahzad Raza, sparking outrage in the area. Raza’s brother was also killed in the same manner on June 1.

The protesters took Raza’s body to Shahra-e-Pakistan and blocked the road.

They then proceeded to torch a truck, a car and a bus before police dispersed the crowd by firing tear gas shells.

The protesters have demanded immediate arrest of the people involved in the two murders.
