Corruption: JI leaders demand investigation

They said Rs800 million of the funds have been claimed to be spent on the city and yet there has been no development.

KARACHI: The Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and ex-parliament members Muzaffar Ahmed Hashmi, Laeeq Khan, Nasrullah Khan Shaji, advocate Hamidullah and Muhammad Yunus Barai expressed concern over the alleged bungling of the preferential funds of members of the provincial assembly and demanded an investigation to unearth corruption. They said Rs800 million of the funds have been claimed to be spent on the city and yet there has been no development.
