HYDERABAD: A worker at a local shop, Iqrar Ali, jumped off a building to save his life after being tortured by the shop owner on Monday.

Ali sustained injuries as a result of his fall, but was successful in saving his life.

Noshad Ali, Ali’s brother, said that Ali worked for a local oil shop located in Anaj Mandi, where he was accused of theft by the shop owners.

Ali was then taken to the third floor of the shop where he was interrogated by his employers who tortured and harassed him.

He confessed to the crime his brother claims he did not commit due to pressure from the shop owners. He jumped off the building for fear of being further tortured and ended up receiving injuries on his hands and feet.
