According to a press release, the meeting expressed deep concern over the inability to drain Hunza River and rehabilitate Attabad Lake-affected people.
They said people from Ayeenabad, Shishkat and Gulmit should be monetarily compensated or provided alternate land for rebuilding houses, while demanding that the District Headquarter be established at a place that could be easily accessed by the masses.
