KARACHI:

A petition challenging the Abbottabad operation by US Navy Seals was filed in the Sindh High Court on Tuesday.

Petitioners Haji Gul Ahmed, the chief of Anjuman-e-Islami Islah-bara-e-Mohashira (Islamic Organisation for Social Reform) cited the federal interior ministry, the joint chief of army staff, the army chief, the Inter-Services Intelligence director-general, the Military Intelligence director-general, the senate chairman and the speaker of the National Assembly as the respondents.

He asked the court to remove these people from their posts given that they failed to protect the people of Pakistan inside its borders. The petition is likely to come up for hearing next week.

Osama bin Laden was killed in an operation by American commandoes on May 2 in Abbottabad where he had been residing in a heavily guarded mansion.

Sukkur Saheb | 12 years ago | Reply Whether this man Haji Gul Ahmed is a relative of Osama Bin Laden or his agent? US army has killed a foreign terrorist on Pakistani soil. He better file a case against killing of Punjab Governor and the Minority Minister instead of a person whose ambition is to kill Pakistani people and produce his own twenty children.
