LAHORE:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf  (PTI) leader Imran Khan said on Thursday that the PPP and PML-N were trying to "fool the nation".

While addressing students of Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Khan said that both parties were trying to fool the people by playing their political blame games.

He said the present government is not concentrating on major issues like power generation and load-shedding. He further added that the country's leaders are too busy with their foreign trips to deal with the people of their own country.

Khan also reiterated his warning of closing down NATO supply routes if drone strikes continue.

Earlier, Khan had said that if drone strikes inside Pakistan do not stop within 30 days, protesters will block all NATO supply routes across Pakistan.

PTI had held a two day protest in Peshawar over the issue of drone attacks.

Rafay Kareem | 12 years ago | Reply Imran is using drones as a political movie to enhance is popularity, which speaks volumes about the level of intellect in this country where he didn't generate much mass support in the past when he spoke about more sensible issues like corruption, mismanagement of the nation's resources etc. In short, the end justifies the means. He's honest and has a track record of delivering under pressure, and never giving up. Hopefully, he'll be the next PM.
