Youth empowerment: Sindh govt starts development centres

Launches a Rs60 million project to build youth development centres in Karachi, Jamshoro and Matiari.

KARACHI: The Sindh Department of Youth Affairs, in collaboration with the Habib University Foundation (HUF), has launched a Rs60 million project to build youth development centres in Karachi, Jamshoro and Matiari. The agreement, known as the Youth Empowering Spaces (YES) programme, was signed by the Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari and HUF Chief Executive Wasif Rizvi. The activities that this initiative will encompass are seminars, conferences, workshops, innovative learning camps, youth action projects, advocacy sessions and courses.
