Get Registered: Traffic police sends warning to driving schools

Police warns of legal action against unauthorised driving schools.

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police ( ITP) has warned of legal action against unauthorised driving schools and given them a ten-day deadline for registration.

SP ( Traffic) Mirvaiz Niaz said the purpose behind the registration was to ensure quality driving training through qualified instructors as there had been
complaints of negligence on their part from driving students.

The SP said such disinterest on the part of instructors caused road accidents. He said the registration process was fairly simple and necessary guidelines could be obtained from the traffic office.
