As a result of the explosion, all passengers died on the spot. Security forces and law enforcement agencies rushed to the site soon after the incident and cordoned off the area. The deceased were taken to a state-run hospital for an autopsy where those killed were identified as Faiz Mohammad, Mohammad Anwar and Mohammad Saeed.
