Rest In Peace: BoR’s Salahuddin Qureshi passes away  

He was awarded the Tamgha-e-Quaid-e-Azam (TQA) for his services

KARACHI: A former senior member of the Board of Revenue, Muhammad Salahuddin Qureshi, passed away on Saturday at his home in Karachi at the age of 79. Qureshi, a PCS officer, held various positions in Sindh including commissioner of Larkana, Sukkur and Mirpukhas. Earlier he served as chairperson of the Sindh Road Transport Corporation  and as DC South. He was awarded the Tamgha-e-Quaid-e-Azam (TQA) for his services. In 2013, he wrote a book ‘Sindh: Time Capsule of Heritage’. Qureshi is the father of PCS officer Lubna Salahuddin and Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution’s investment director-general Riaz Salahuddin. His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Sultan Masjid and he was buried at Abdullah Shah Ghazi graveyard. The soyem will be held between Zuhr and Asr at the family home: 68/1 6th street, off Khayaban-e-Badban, DHA, Karachi.
