Amid delay: Balochistan Assembly adopts two resolutions

QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly passed two resolutions unanimously on Thursday.

The session, which began 50 minutes later than scheduled, was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Assembly Speaker Raheela Durrani.

Planning and Development Minister Dr Hamid Khan Achakzai presented a joint resolution regarding the construction of an alternative airport for Quetta airport. He said that it was a world practice that each international airport had an alternative airport in case of an emergency.

Meanwhile, a point of order was raised by the Deputy Leader of the Opposition Zamrak Khan Achakzai to raise the issue of engineers removed from administrative posts.
