Heading to Hollywood has been the end goal for many Bollywood celebrities in the past, but not Amir Khan! Yes, it may come as a surprise to many, but the Dangal actor has no plans of working in international films, as he prefers to concentrate on his work in India.

Aamir Khan overwhelmed with Dangal response

"I don't have any interest in going to the US and working there,” Khan told the Mumbai Mirror. “I am totally interested in working for Indian films. I have had a relationship with the audience here for last 25-26 years and I value to it.”

The 51-year-old actor further stated that even though it’s not in his career graph to work in an international film currently, he is open to working in global film projects if something interesting is offered.

"There are no boundaries for creative purpose. If I get an offer from Japan and if I like it, I will do it," he added.

Khan is also adamant that Hollywood is not a threat to Indian cinema, “We should be afraid with ourselves, because if we make bad films, we will automatically lose our audience. I don't think it is possible for anyone to come and eat into our business. If a film is good, be it any language it will get a good response," he said.

Other Indian stars who have worked in Hollywood movies in the past are Irrfan Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and more recently Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.
