Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic switched his weapon of choice from racquet to bat in Melbourne ahead of the Australian Open.

The 29-year-old, who is ranked number two in the world, picked up a cricket bat in the event called “A Night with Novak”, the Serb’s charity event, and played a few shots off Australian great Shane Warne’s bowling on the tennis court.

Missing the first ball, Djokovic exhibited disappointment to which Warne said, “You have five more chances, you have got to hit one [atleast].”

In exchange, the Serb replied saying, “I was expecting a bit faster [delivery] than that.”

Djokovic is currently playing against Spain’s Fernando Verdasco in the Grand Slam tournament.
