ABBOTTABAD: A number of local people Friday urged the government to restore the railway booking service for various trains from Hazara division. Pakistan Railways suspended its booking service for Tez Gam, Blue Express, Khyber Mail, Shalimar and Quetta Express all over Hazara division. Owing to lack of booking offices, passengers from Hazara division had to go to Rawalpindi for purchasing tickets. Earlier, ticket booking facility was available in different places of Hazara division. People in the region division have demanded that Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique reopen the Railway Booking Office in the area. They also urged National Assembly Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi – an Abbottabad native – to help revive the facility.
