Pakistan pacer Mohammad Irfan's mother passes away

Pacer will take first flight back home and will miss out on atleast first two matches of the Australia series

Pakistan left-arm pacer Mohammad Irfan's mother passed away on Monday.

The fast-bowler, who is currently on tour in Brisbane for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Australia, was informed of the news during a practice session.

The Express Tribune has learnt that Irfan will take the first flight back home and will miss out on atleast first two matches of the Australia series. Three months ago the pacer's father also passed away.

Pakistan recently lost the three-match Test series against Australia during the current tour and will commence the ODI series from Friday in Brisbane, followed by matches in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Adelaide.
