Monetary dispute: Man stabs two brothers to death

During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A man killed his elder brothers and wounded his sister by stabbing them with a knife in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday. A police official said Shahzad, a resident of Essa Colony, Rahim Yar Khan used to take money from his elder brothers for monthly expenditures. He added, “On Sunday, Shahzad’s brothers refused to give him money. This enraged him and he killed his two brothers by stabbing them with a knife.” The deceased were identified as Shahid, 25, and 26-year-old Mujahid. The suspect also stabbed his sister who tried to stop him from killing his brothers. She was shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. Soon after the incident, the police arrested accused Shahzad and shifted him to the police station. During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. The police said Shahzad was a graduate while one of his brothers was a bank employee and the other an engineer.
