The meat was wasted

ISLAMABAD: Assistant Commissioner Shalimar raided and checked various food outlets, restaurants and fruit shops for food quality, labour laws, fire extinguishers, prices and general standards in G-11 Markaz. The administration team also levied fines on eateries selling beef and mutton dishes on Wednesday, a no-meat day. One restaurant was sealed for keeping frozen meat of unknown expiry date. The meat was wasted.
