Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor often stirs controversy on social media with his tweets and inappropriate humour.

As the American presidential elections concluded and India banned its two highest denomination currency notes, Rishi took to Twitter to express his views on the two events. "In the last two days, two of the world's largest democracies have gone from black to white," he said.

The tweet didn't go down well with Twitterati who slammed the veteran actor for being 'racist'.

However, they were some who praised the actor's sense of humour.
