Criminal charges: Three policemen sacked for ‘criminal activities’

Three police officers have been dismissed from service for their alleged involvement in criminal acts.

RAWALPINDI: Three police officers have been dismissed from service for their alleged involvement in criminal acts.

Potohar Division’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Pervez Iqbal Bindial has punished Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) RA Bazaar police station on charges of his role in fraud and bribery cases.

The inspector was earlier demoted to the post of head-constable and an inquiry was ordered against him. After the inquiry report that proved him guilty, the SP dismissed him from his service.

Similarly Headconstable Muhammad Azad of the Cantonment police station has been dismissed from his job.

He was arrested along with other suspected criminals from the limits of the Tarnol police station few months ago.

Constable Amjad was also dismissed from his job for his involvement in criminal acts.
