KARACHI: Around ten cadets who sustained injuries during the attack on a police training centre in Quetta on October 24 are undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), confirmed the hospital administration.

Pakistan Peoples Party Sindh chapter president minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro visited the victims at AKUH on Friday.

Talking to the media, Khuhro said that the government has won the ongoing war against terrorism, but it needs a comprehensive strategy to deal with the situation. "We have to take steps which create fear among the terrorists," he said.

Responding to question about role being played by non-state actors, he said, "We should not talk about non- state actors rather we should discuss the role of political actors." Regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) plan to 'lockdown' Islamabad, Khuhro said PTI should avoid such politics which creates a problem for the masses. "We are democratic people and support peaceful protests being organised by any party," he said, adding that the word "lockdown" is not reasonable.
