Day two: Pakistan all out for 452 against West Indies

Hosts scored 97 runs and lost two wicket in opening session of the play

ABU DHABI: Pakistan were all out for 452 on day two in the second of the three-match series against West Indies on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.

Younus Khan's 127 and Misbahul Haq's 96 led the team total with fifties from Asad Shafiq (68) and Sarfraz Ahmed (56) also helping the hosts' cause.

For West Indies, Shannon Gabriel bagged a five-for, Jason Holder took three wickets, while Devendre Bishoo and Carlos Brathwaite accounted for one batsman each.

At lunch

Pakistan, resuming at 304-4, were 401-6 at lunch on the second day of the second Test of the three-match series against West Indies in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Overnight batsman Misbahul Haq failed to complete his hundred as he fell for 96 on the bowling of pacer Shannon Gabriel, while nightwatchman Yasir Shah made 23 and was dismissed by Windies captain Jason Holder.

Day one: Younus' ton helps Pakistan score 304-4 against Windies


Wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed played an aggressive innings of 45, as he along with all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz (16) steer Pakistan past 400 at the stroke of lunch.

For visitors, paceman Gabriel was the pick of the bowlers, as he picked three wickets and give away just 57 runs.

Pakistan lead the three-match series 1-0 after the first day-night Test by 56 runs in Dubai.
