ISLAMABAD: Police on Friday arrested a man who had been booked in July for assaulting a person in Phulgaran.  Muhammad Shahzad was arrested outside a courtroom after his bail-before-arrest application was dismissed by Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Raja Khurram Ali Khan. His co-accused Muhammad Hashim, Muhammad Ishaq and Muhammad Qasim, however, were granted bail. The suspects had been booked by the Bhara Kahu police on August 5. Meanwhile, the same court acquitted a man arrested on a murder charge. Imtiaz Khan had been booked by the Khanna police on charges of murder and rioting. The court, however, acquitted him after the prosecution failed to prove the charge.
