KARACHI: The third edition of the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2016 kicked off on a high note, with a bevy of B-town celebs attending the event. Living up to the name of the award ceremony, Kajol Devgn, Alia Bhatt and the up-and-coming style icon Pooja Hedge, put their best foot forward in super stylish ensembles. Here’s a rundown of what the three actors wore to the red carpet.

Alia Bhatt

The Kapoor & Sons star turned heads in a mint green Ulyana Sergeenko dress. While the half-tied high ponytail and smokey eye colour added much-needed drama to her attire, Bhatt kept her look simple wearing no accessories at all. Needless to say, her most precious accessory is certainly her wide smile. We absolutely love how she matched her nail colour with her dress and opted for contrasting maroon lace-up heels – a shoe trend that is definitely ruling the fashion industry now a days.

Pooja Hegde

The newbie actor looked oh-so-hot in a dramatic Gaurav Gupta gown. With bold lips and her hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail and a middle-parting, Hegde worked the look really well. While silver is surely her colour, the structured cut of the dress accentuated her curves and the side slit added an oomph that she complemented with a pair of strappy silver heels.

Kajol Devgn

After being seen in run-of-the-mill ensembles for years now, the Dilwale star left us speechless as she graced the red carpet in a color-block Nikhil Thampi off-shoulder gown. The figure-hugging dress trailed on the floor and Kajol rightfully took home the award for the Fashion Reinvention of the Year. As a finishing touch, she accessorised her attire with a beaded Nirav Modi choker.
