Indian atrocities: Turkish leadership briefed on Kashmir

ANKARA: Prime Minister’s Special Envoys on Jammu and Kashmir Muhammad Pervaiz Malik and Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha concluded their visit of briefing the Turkish leadership on the atrocities being committed by the Indian forces in the disputed valley. According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Embassy in Ankara the special envoys called on the chairperson of the Committee on National Defence of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Yusuf Beyazit and called for a response from the international community to bring an end to impunity, and the vicious cycle of state terrorism against the Kashmiris. The envoys also met with the Turkish Parliament’s Committee on Human Rights Inquiry Chairperson Mustafa Yeneroglu and expressed hope that the relevant human rights bodies would continue to call on the Indian government to end the gross violations of human rights.
