On Friday, Saeed filed an intra-court appeal before the LHC against its single bench’s order, which had dismissed his petition on August 23.
In the petition, Saeed’s counsel AK Dogar stated the single bench had ruled the matter could not be decided as it fell within the political domain. However, he contended, the case has peculiar facts which are fundamentally related to the foreign policy of the government.
On August 23, the LHC single bench had dismissed the petition for being non-maintainable.
