After nearly 12 years together, Hollywood’s golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – fondly referred to as ‘Brangelina’ – is now calling it quits. According to ABC News, Jolie filed for divorce on Monday, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ without seeking any spousal support.

However, things are rarely ever as simple as that. The multi-talented couple began dating in 2004 and wed only two years ago. They have also welcomed three children during their time together and adopted three more, making a total of six.

How the family’s assets will be split remains yet to be seen but Forbes magazine broke down how much Brangelina is worth and has earned ever since tying the knot in 2014.

Throughout their relationship, Pitt and Jolie pulled in north of $550 million, with more than $300 million attributed to the former. Since 2014, the Fight Club actor has earned $76 million, out of the duo’s $117.5 million.

Of course, cash is not the only asset that will need to be sorted. There are also plenty of other tangible ones the superstars purchased together, most notably the Château Miraval in the south of France and their wine line.

The duo purchased Miraval for $60 million four years ago and even held their wedding there. But the property is more than just a beautiful wedding or holiday venue, creating some of the most sought-after wines in the world. Three years ago, a single line of Miraval rosé sold out in just hours, with customers chomping at the bit to get their hands on 6,000 bottles at €105 each.

In addition to this, Pitt and Jolie co-own properties in California and New Orleans. According to Variety, they tried to sell their French Quarter property last year for $6.5 million but lowered the asking price before taking it off the market.

Naturally, both actors are also heavily invested in movie production. Pitt’s company Plan B has films such as Troy, World War Z and Selma to its credit, while Jolie has famously produced projects like 2014’s Unbroken. And of course, they are both still starring in major motion pictures. Pitt has three movies coming out in the next two years, namely Allied, War Machine and World War Z 2. Jolie, on the other hand, will soon be seen in Maleficent 2, which was announced earlier this year. It should also be noted that Plan B Entertainment has deals with Paramount Pictures and Fox, among other studios, making it one of the top production companies in Hollywood.
